3D Design · Animation · Lookdev with BUCK
Microsoft is bringing Copilot+ PCs to schools, students and creators everywhere. The campaign celebrates a new generation of devices designed around AI · fast, intelligent and built for the way people actually work. I collaborated with BUCK to deliver a series of design-driven CGI films, blending hyper-real product hero shots with playful, character-led visual systems.

The lighting story of the campaign starts with a single beam of warm light cutting across glossy aluminum and translucent surfaces. I worked on a custom lookdev pipeline in Redshift that pushes the contrast between the cool, almost surgical environment and the warm Copilot key · making it the unmistakable hero of every frame.
Full Project CaseEvery device was rebuilt in CG and pushed until the materials survived extreme close-ups. Brushed aluminum, soft-touch keys, glass and the OLED glow were tuned shot by shot, so the product reads as something you could pick up, not something rendered.

For the launch films I joined the BUCK production team in Budapest. The lifestyle plates were shot on location with a small crew and integrated back into the CG pipeline · matching real environments, lighting and depth of field. Every device hero shot was rebuilt in 3D so the team could control every reflection, every UI moment and every soft cast of light from the OLED.

Around the hero product work, the campaign runs on a playful, character-led visual system. Type, characters and device screens share one animation language, so every film and cutdown feels like part of the same world.
